Freshly made Christmas Cards

Happy Black Friday. I will not be at the malls with all the other folks today. Also, I can't go weigh in today....I gained two pounds by my scales, which is great since I ate about 5 pounds of turkey, dressing, etc. I am a Quick Weight Loss member and have about 5 pounds left to lose. They are not so nice when you don't follow the program. I think I will eat really good today, do a water flush and then go tomorrow. Instead, I will hit the "junkie" for some good deals and use my gift card Beth gave the new Design Team (and the 3 alternates which includes me). I am attaching a photo of some cards I made yesterday. I am in the Christmas spirit now.

Celebrate "the man"

Well, vacation has been good to me so far. My son is home from school, my husband is playing in his garage, and I have been able to get a bit of art created. I am attaching a photo of my first canvas, (well actually, second canvas) creation. It is a 6x6 inch celebrating "the man".

Done!

I have the frame complete and I am happy with it. Now, what to do next?

Well, here it is, my inaugural blog. Very exciting. I am starting some badly need vacation from work too. I think that I will scrap today. I am trying to complete a picture frame for my niece. These are her sweet girls. It is coming along, but I need to go get a different color paint to complete it. Yipee, I am going to the scrapbook store today.
